The Buffalo Sabres are listening to trade offers on Sam Reinhart. Asking price is a 1st rd pick and prospect.

Elliotte Friedman was on Hockey Night in Canada and stated that the Buffalo Sabres are “wide open” for business and they are listening on everyone.

One player Friedman mentioned was Sam Reinhart. NHL Rumors already had Jack Eichel, Brandon Montour and Taylor Hall on the trade block, but Friedman stated that other teams have been contacting about Reinhart’s availability.

The only players on the Buffalo Sabres with no-movement clauses are Hall and Jeff Skinner. So if a team comes at the NHL trade deadline with the right offer for Reinhart, they will trade him.

Reinhart, 25, currently has 17 points in 20 games and carries a $5.2 million cap hit and will be a RFA after the season. The likely asking price for Reinhart in a 1st round pick plus a prospect.
