Connor Hellebuyck wants $9.5 million/year on new contract
Pierre LeBrun was on TSN’s Insider Trading segment and reports that Connor Hellebuyck has interest in being traded to the New Jersey Devils in a sign and trade scenerio.
LeBrun went on to say in his TV hit that the only snag New Jersey and other interested teams in a Hellebuyck trade would have is the salary Connor is asking for. He wants Andrei Vasilevskiy money which is $9.5 million per year.

The New Jersey Devils win the Stanley Cup is Hellebuyck is traded there. That team is loaded with young talent.
No thank you. I take a pass on Hellebuyck if he wants that type of money. John Gibson can be had for four more seasons at $6.5 million/year.
