Picture of Jonathan Toews. Will the Oilers sign him this offseason?
With free agent frenzy approaching fast, The Edmonton Oilers have interest in signing Jonathan Toews this offseason.

The Edmonton Oilers are looking to add a player on the 3rd line that has leadership and can add to the score sheet from time-to-time.

Rumors are starting to make the rounds that the Oilers are looking to sign Jonathan Toews this offseason.

Will the Oilers sign Jonathan Toews?

Jeff Marek was on his 32 Thoughts Podcast and the topic of Jonathan Toews came up. He feels Toews would be a perfect fit for the Edmonton Oilers.

Marek went on to say, Toews, 35, will decide on his future soon and if he wants one more shot at the Stanley Cup, the Oilers should be all over him when free agent frenzy starts on July 1.

What are Oiler fans saying about a potential Jonathan Toews contract?

The Oilers should be targeting Devon Toews and not Jonathan Toews!

I think Toews would be a great signing by the Oilers. He had a pretty productive year when he did play (23G-48P pace) and has a championship pedigree.

If we can’t sign Jonathan Toews, I say GM Ken Holland target Corey Perry.
