NHL Rumors have been floating around that the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to bolster their defensive corps for a deep playoff run with Josh Manson, Jakob Chychrun and Ben Chiarot as trade targets.
Elliotte Friedman was on Sportsnet’s 32 Thoughts Podcast and dropped a bombshell and stated that the Maple Leafs are on Josh Manson’s no-trade list.
Friedman went on to say, that doesn’t mean it can’t happen, that just means if you really want to do it you have to work it a bit.
It is believed with the strict restrictions Toronto has faced with COVID-19, Manson prefers not to play in Canada if he is traded.
The NHL trade deadline could be interesting if players refuse to play in Canada.
