Patrick Kane trade to Vegas
The Vegas Golden Knights will target a top-line forward at the NHL trade deadline and it appears their target is Patrick Kane.

With the devastating news that the Vegas Golden Knights have lost forward forward Mark Stone for at least the reminder of the season and possibly the playoffs, the Knights will be looking to make a trade.

With Stone’s long-term injury, it opens up $9.5 million in Vegas salary cap space for the team to make a significant trade.

Vegas Golden Knights interested in a Patrick Kane trade

Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley had a goal to win the Stanley Cup in the first five years. He came close but did not accomplish what he wanted.

Foley desperately wants a Cup and Vegas management has full support from the owner to pursue a big name player, and that player appears to be Patrick Kane.

Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff reports the Golden Knights will target a Patrick Kane trade. He feels Kane would be a great fit playing on a line with Jack Eichel.

Seravalli went on to say in his piece that the only way a trade could be facilitated if the Blackhawks retain 50% of Kane’s salary cap hit which is $10.5 million.
