The St. Louis Blues have stumbled big time in March. Now they sit in fifth spot in the tough West division. NHL Trade Rumors are now going around that the Blues will be sellers at the NHL trade deadline.
The two roster players getting the most attention from other teams are Mike Hoffman and Vince Dunn. Hoffman was a healthy scratch recently, which seemed more like a move to get him going than a harbinger of an eventual trade. But given his contract, lack of trade protection and failure to score goals at a considerable clip in St. Louis, he could be on the move in a money-in, money-out deal.
Dunn has a good skill set, and defensemen are at a premium at this NHL trade deadline, the question is, are the Blues better off hanging onto the 24-year-old puck-mover or trading him?
If the Blues do decide to be buyers at the trade deadline, NHL Rumors have gone around that they would be interested in making a trade for Buffalo Sabres forward Taylor Hall.
