Vince Dunn has fallen out of favor with the St. Louis Blues coaching staff and he will likely be traded at some point this season.

Vince Dunn was the hot NHL trade rumors topic a few weeks back and nothing has materialized yet for a trade. He is back in the rumor mill again and Josh Wegman of The Score is reporting up to 5 teams should be interested in the defenceman.

Wegman states that Dunn has fallen out of favor with the St. Louis Blues coaching staff. He feels Dunn could benefit from a fresh start. He’s an excellent skater with a heavy shot and good vision.

Dunn, who carries a $1.875-million cap hit this season, still has upside, but it will require the right fit in order to unlock some of his potential.

Five teams Wegman feels Dunn should be traded to are the Ottawa Senators, LA Kings, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers or Winnipeg Jets.

Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now is reporting that the Boston Bruins should make a trade for Dunn.

Haggerty states, salary wise the Bruins should be able to afford him. The Bruins could possibly offer a trade package involving forward Anders Bjork. If the Bruins don’t have to include a high-end defensive prospect like Urho Vaakanainen, they should explore the idea.
