This is not the first time Justin Holl’s name has been in the NHL trade rumors mill.
His name floated all last season along with Travis Dermott. Dermott was traded and now it looks like Holl will be moved either at the free agent frenzy period or at some point in the summer.
Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff reports Holl has been passed in the depth charts by Timothy Liljegren which makes him expendable.
Holl, 30, had 23 points ( 3 goals, 20 assists ) in 69 games played last season. He has one more season remaining on his contract worth $2 million AVV. He does own a modified no-trade clause that has a 10 team no-trade list.
