NHL trade rumors were all over the Patrick Kane rumors in the offseason. He was being rumored to be going to the New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche etc…
The big question is, does Patrick Kane actually want to be traded? It was reported a few months back that Kane would prefer to be a Blackhawk and focus on breaking every record in the Blackhawks book.
Why does Patrick Kane want to be a Blackhawk for life?
Rumors have suggested Patrick Kane wants to be the greatest Chicago Blackhawk of all-time.
Elliotte Friedman on his latest 32 Thoughts podcast has suggested Patrick Kane might not want to get traded at the NHL trade deadline. Friedman also mentioned that Patrick Kane wants to break all of Stan Mikita’s records.
Kane, 34, sits 267 points behind Mikita for the all-time Blackhawks points leader record and 170 goals behind Bobby Hull for the Blackhawks all-time goal scorer lead.
