Jesse Puljujärvi has not worked out in Edmonton and he likely needs a change of scenery to rejuvenate his career.

The Edmonton Oilers have been trying to trade Jesse Puljujärvi since the offseason with no luck.

NHL trade rumors are now making the rounds that GM Ken Holland has let teams know that Puljujärvi is available and give him their best offer.

What do the Edmonton Oilers want in a Jesse Puljujärvi trade?

Elliotte Friedman was on his on 32 Thoughts podcast and reports the Edmonton Oilers tried to trade Jesse Puljujärvi the past few months but teams have not made offers that Oilers management felt were fair due.

The low ball offers the Oilers are receiving are due to his lack of production. A Puljujärvi trade might not happen until January as Edmonton is banged up at the forward position.

Puljujärvi has not worked out in Edmonton and he likely needs a change of scenery to rejuvenate his career.

What do Oilers fans think of Jesse Puljujärvi

He has one game where he took the body and it turned into a goal. Good play, perhaps try and keep that pace up? If you watch closely he gets pushed around out there, he’s not physical at all. Still don’t think he’s a good fit on this team and hope he’s gets moved at some point.

Trade him for an another winger, Habs have plenty of them available…
