Bo Horvat likely to be traded
With Bo Horvat rejecting the Vancouver Canucks latest contract offer it appears the forward is on the trade block.

How long will Bo Horvat be a Vancouver Canuck? That is the question everyone is asking after reports have come out that Bo Horvat has rejected the Canucks latest contract offer.

Pierre LeBrun reports the Canucks made Bo Horvat’s camp the new contract offer a couple of weeks ago. With the offer rejected, Canucks are focused on making a trade sooner rather than later.

What was the contract offer to Bo Horvat?

It is rumored that the Vancouver Canucks have offered a long-term deal in the $7 million/year range to Bo Horvat that he rejected.

The Fourth Period reports Horvat is seeking a contract worth north of $8 million per season and the Canucks are not believed to be in that range.

Horvat was selected by the Canucks in the first round, ninth overall, at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Horvat is a six-time 20-goal scorer and was named the Canucks’ captain in October 2019. He has represented Canada at various international tournaments, including the World Junior Championship and the World Championship.

What are fans saying about a potential Bo Horvat trade

Open up that cap but still trade Horvat. It shouldn’t be this hard to figure out. We have the 27th ranked prospect pool. We have no future. You do NOT keep adding to the 7+ year high dollar to guys deep into their 30s. We are not a cup contender nor a playoff contender

Trade Horvat to the Wings, they’re in la la playoff land, and then watch as Caps, Sabres and Cats all pass them. Collect a nice pick from the 2023 draft, and a prospect and then learn from this. Sign these guys in the offseason or trade them when you hold the high ground.

trade this clown already, he is extremely overrated, he is a career high 60 point player that is average defensively let somebody else overpay for his goals above expected this season, take the 1st round pick and wish him goodbye
