Cam Fowler trade rumors
The Anaheim Ducks are in tank nation mode and will be all-in on Connor Bedard. Do they look at trading Cam Fowler for assets?

The Anaheim Ducks have been a disappointment through the first 30 games of the season. They sit dead last in the league with a 7-20-3 mark and will likely be all-in on the Connor Bedard tank nation sweepstakes at the 2023 NHL draft.

With the team playing so poorly, NHL trade rumors are starting to popup and there is one player on the Ducks that will likely get the most interest from playoff contending teams…

When will Cam Fowler get traded?

Dave Poulin was on TSN Radio 1050 and he was asked about the Anaheim Ducks and their poor play this year. The Ducks were a playoff contending team last season, so the poor play is surprising.

Poulin believes Cam Fowler will get the most interest of all Duck players. He feels at 31, Fowler still has a lot of game left to be a top pairing defenseman on any team.

Fowler has 3 more years at a $6.5 million Ducks salary cap hit. If Cam Fowler has no interest being on the rebuilding Ducks team, he may waive his no-trade clause to play on a playoff contending team for the remaining years on his contract.

Fowler was drafted 12th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in the 1st round of the 2010 NHL entry draft. Currently over a career that spans 13 seasons, he has a total 381 points in 841 games played, and 33 playoffs points in 62 games played.
