Jonathan Drouin was in the NHL trade rumors mill this offseason but the Habs could find any takers to facilitate a trade.
Drouin is in the final year of his contract and a change of scenery might do him well so he can get some playing time, show he can still produce, which will help him earn a new contract for next season.
Drouin recently changed his number to 27 in the hopes of having better luck this season but it has not worked out so far.
