The Dallas Stars seek another veteran forward rather than relying on young players in the system this season.

The Dallas Stars will be looking to be a Stanley Cup contender this year after missing the playoffs last year. The Stars brought in Ryan Suter and Brayden Holtby this offseason.

David Satriano of NHL.com suggests the Stars could seek another veteran forward rather than relying on young players in the system this season. The Stars have one of the deepest defensive cores and will want to focus on solidifying the forwards.

Satriano went on to say, Riley Tufte, 23, who was the No. 25 pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, scored nine points (three goals, six assists) in 36 games with Texas last season and could be another option to crack the bottom six of the Stars lineup if the Stars cannot find the veteran they seek..
