Teams are beginning to call the Arizona Coyotes on the availability of Alex Gologoski. He will likely be traded at the NHL trade deadline.

Alex Goligoski will be a unrestricted free-agent this off-season and it appears the Arizona Coyotes have no interest in re-signing him.

TSN’s Frank Seravalli reports there has been no negotiations on a contract extension. Goligoski plays top-pair minutes and is a coveted left-shooting defenceman.

With the NHL Trade Deadline approaching, teams are beginning to contact the Coyotes on the asking price for Goligoski.

NHL Trade Rumors have gone around on the availability of Columbus Blue Jackets David Savard and Nashville Predators Dman Mattias Ekholm. If the asking price is too much or teams miss out on acquiring Savard or Ekholm, they will likely pursue Goligoski.
