TSN has revealed it’s first NHL trade bait board and sitting in the #2 spot is Columbus Blue Jackets defenceman David Savard.
Savard, 30, is a pending unrestricted free agent and the big question is, will Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen trade Savard at the 2021 NHL Trade Deadline? Kekalainen has a history of playing out contracts to their completion – will he pull the trigger at this years deadline?
Savard is an excellent stay-at-home defenceman, great at shot-blocking and he is very physical which makes Savard extremely hard to play against.
