NHL Rumors have floated around all offseason about the Sens looking to make a trade for Jakob Chychrun but the asking price is way too much!

Darren Dreger was on TSN 1050 radio and he was asked what he thinks the Ottawa Senators will do or what defenceman they are trying to make a trade for as they want an upgrade on the backend.
Dreger stated GM Pierre Dorian would love to make a trade for Jakob Chychrun but the asking price is too much and he will not give up Jake Sanderson in a trade for Chychrun.
Which defenceman will the Ottawa Senators target?
If they can’t make a Chychrun trade they will look at other available defenceman from around the league. They want someone to mentor Sanderson and help him develop into a #1 defenceman.
The problem the Senators have right now is most teams have solidified their lineups and it will be hard to land a quality defenceman at this point in time.
It is still believed Chychrun is the #1 choice for Ottawa but the only way a trade will happen is if the asking price goes down.
