Max Pacioretty has had a rough go in the past few months. First he missed a month of action with a fractured foot and now he is out indefinitely after wrist surgery.
Pacioretty had been playing well with 21 points in 16 games played this season.
He is expected to be out for two months which could help delay the Vegas Golden Knights in making some trades as they will have to move out salary to accommodate Jack Eichel’s return and his $10 million salary cap hit.
