The Dallas Stars have signed holdout forward Jason Robertson to a four-year contract extension worth $31 million which gives the Stars a yearly salary cap hit of $7.75 million.
Robertson’s rookie contract expired when the season ended and NHL rumors had circulated this offseason that he could receive an offer sheet or be traded if no deal was worked out.
Robertson, 23, was drafted 39th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2nd round of the 2017 NHL entry draft. Currently over a career that spans 3 seasons, he has a total 125 points in 128 games played, and 4 playoffs points in 7 games played.
