Jakob Chychrun
NHL trade rumors for October 7, 2022 feature Jakob Chychrun. Unless the asking price lowers for Chychrun, he will not be traded.

Jakob Chychrun is hoping to be traded before the Arizona Coyotes season opener next week, but with time dwindling away, it is looking less likely that he will be moved.

The Ottawa Senators are still the front runners to make a Jakob Chychrun trade but he will not be dealt unless the asking price is lowered by Arizona Coyotes management.

What are the Coyotes asking for in a Jakob Chychrun trade?

Darren Dreger was on TSN 1050 radio this morning and he was asked what is the latest news on Jakob Chychrun?

Dreger reports that the asking price has not lowered for a Chychrun trade. Dreger believes the asking price is still two first round picks and a top prospect.

The Coyotes are also willing to take a bad contract back in order to facilitate a trade.

What teams are interested in Jakob Chychrun?

The Ottawa Senators are the frontrunners to make a Chychrun trade. They have the assets and they would like to send Nikita Zaitsev in a package for Chychrun.

The LA kings have also been mentioned to have interest in Jakob Chychrun. Like the Sens, they also have the assets to make a trade.

The only way Chychrun is traded is if the Arizona Coyotes lower their asking price. If the Yotes are willing to take a first round draft pick, a top prospect and a bad contract back, a deal will be made.

Until that happens, Chychrun will be lacing up the skates for the Coyotes next Thursday, when they open the season against the Pittsburgh Penguins on the road. View the Arizona Coyotes TV schedule to see when they play next.
