Matt Murray
NHL trade rumors are heating up on the goalie front. The Toronto Maple Leafs have interest in trading for goalie Matt Murray.

Have the Toronto Maple Leafs decided to move on from goalie Jack Campbell?

NHL trade rumors are heating up that the Leafs have an interest in Ottawa Senators goalie Matt Murray.

GM Kyle Dubas and coach Sheldon Keefe have a connection with Murray with their time together on the Soo Greyhounds.

The Senators would like to trade Murray but his contract and no-trade clause is preventing any deal to happen. Murray reportedly turned down a trade to the Buffalo Sabres yesterday.

Murray has a Senators salary cap hit of $6.25 million for the next two seasons. If a Murray trade were to happen, the Sens would have to eat some salary.

Darren Dreger tweeted that Matt Murray would support a trade to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Murray does own a 10 team no-trade clause.

The free agent frenzy period should be interesting on what the Leafs do on the goalie front. Do they re-sign Campbell, sign Darcy Kuemper or trade for Murray?
