Are the St. Louis Blues and Toronto Maple Leafs talking trade?
The Fourth Period: The Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues have been scouting each other recently. Leafs assistant GM Kyle Dubas has been scouting the Blues Director of Pro Scouting Rob DiMaio has been scouting the Leafs. The Blues have expressed interest in Leafs center Nazem Kadri and injured winger Joffrey Lupul. Toronto would need to retain part of Lupul’s salary or take back a higher contract as part of any trade.
Islanders and Panthers interested in Andrew Ladd
Sportsnet: Elliotte Friedman is reporting the the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers are possible destinations for Andrew Ladd. Both teams have the cap space to take on the remainder of his $4.4-million cap hit. The asking price is believed to be a 1st round pick and prospect.
