Would the Leafs trade Nazem Kadri to move up in draft order?
TSN Radio 1050: Darren Dreger was on the TSN morning show chatting with Micheal Landsberg and Dave Naylor. The topic was brought up… if the Toronto Maple Leafs do not win the 2016 NHL draft lottery and picked fourth overall, would they trade the pick and Nazem Kadri to get the 2nd overall pick? Dreger had this discussion with Bob McKenzie and Craig Button and the idea was split with everyone, they are still not sure if they would trade Kadri or not?
Six teams interested in Andrew Ladd
TSN.ca: Gary Lawless is reporting Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff continues to get trade calls regarding Andrew Ladd. As many as six teams – Anaheim Ducks, Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, LA Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals. It’s believed at least one team has made an offer of a first-round pick plus a prospect for Ladd.
Montreal Canadiens forward Dale Weise likely to be traded
Sportsnet: Eric Engels is reporting Montreal Canadiens winger Dale Weise would love to re-sign with the Habs, but Weise who will be a UFA understands he could be dealt by next week’s NHL trade deadline.
