As the offseason churns on, there are still some prominent free agents available and the one player that is looking to sign with a team is P.K. Subban.
Evolving Hockey projects the Toronto native to sign a three-year deal with a $3.815-million cap hit. The big question is, who does Subban sign with?
Oilers, Predators, Sabres interested in P.K. Subban
Edmonton Oilers
The oddsmakers are favoring Subban to sign with the Edmonton Oilers. They will be a Stanley Cup contender but the team first has to move out some salary if they wish to sign Subban to a contract. Rumors are floating around that the Oilers are currently looking to trade Jesse Puljujärvi.
Nashville Predators
Will Subban return the Nashville Predators? The Preds expect to be playoff contenders and they have $4 million in salary cap space to sign P.K. Subban. He would fit well on the 2nd unit powerplay while being a top 6 defenceman for Nashville.
Buffalo Sabres
The Buffalo Sabres are an up and coming team. With Owen Power and Rasmus Dahlin projected to lead the back end of the Sabres for years to come, Subban would be great mentor for the two young studs.
Plus, him playing in the Atlantic division again and going against the Montreal Canadiens would provide some great entertainment for the fans.
