Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner will be out the entire 2022-23 NHL season as he is set to undergo hip surgery.

In some breaking NHL injury news, Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner will be out the entire 2022-23 NHL season as he is set to undergo hip surgery.

Right now the goalies the Vegas Golden Knights have under contract are Michael Hutchinson, Laurent Brossoit and Logan Thompson.

Lehner appeared in 44 games last season, his 12th in the NHL. He was 23-17-2 with a goals against average of 2.83 an a .907 save percentage.

With most of the free agent goalies being scooped during the free agent frenzy period, there are only scraps left. Vegas could go the trade route if there is nothing enticing to the team in terms of free agent goalies.

In the table below, the best options appear to be Braden Holtby and Andrew Hammond.
