The Ottawa Senators have signed rugged defenseman Artem Zub to an four-year contract extension worth $18.4 million which gives the Sens a yearly salary cap hit of $4.6 million.
Zub was slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Artem’s contract comes with a 10 team no-trade clause in all four years of his contract.
Zub, 27, was undrafted and signed by the Ottawa Senators in 2020. Currently over a career that spans 3 seasons he has a total 40 points in 142 games played.
