Matthew Boldy contract

The Minnesota Wild have signed forward Matthew Boldy to an seven-year contract extension worth $49 million which gives the Wild a yearly salary cap hit of $7 million.

Boldy was slated to become a restricted free agent this summer. His new contract includes a 10 team no trade clause in the final 2 years of his deal.

Boldy, 21, was drafted 12th overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 1st round of the 2019 NHL entry draft. Currently over a career that spans 2 seasons, he has a total 68 points in 90 games played, and 1 playoffs points in 6 games played.
