The Boston Bruins are the best team in the league. They have 5 regulation losses in 43 games (34-5-4) and have pulled away from the other top teams in the Eastern Conference for the #1 seed.
This has not stopped Bruins management looking to upgrade the team for a deep playoff run. An NHL team always needs depth for the playoffs and the B’s look like they are talking to the Vancouver Canucks.
Luke Schenn Boston Bruins Bound?
Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic reports Boston Bruins management is interested in adding a right-shot defenseman to the lineup and they are targeting Vancouver Canucks defenseman Luke Schenn.
LeBrun went on to say in his piece that the Bruins are already talking to Canucks management about a Luke Schenn trade. He plays the game physical and hard and would be a perfect fit for the Bruins.
The Bruins could have some competition for Schenn’s services as NHL trade rumors also have the Tampa Bay Lighting interested in a Schenn trade.
