Bo Horvat trade to Edmonton
The Edmonton Oilers sit comfortably in a playoff spot but they will look to solidify their position with a Bo Horvat trade.

Bo Horvat has been in the NHL trade rumors mill since late October and it appears his time as a Vancouver Canuck is winding down. The big question is, which team will he be traded to?

Horvat has been connected to the New York Rangers, Colorado Avalanche and the Seattle Kraken. He will be a rental player but there is big demand for Horvat and the Canucks should receive a decent return for the pending UFA.

Edmonton Oilers interested in a Bo Horvat trade

Jeff Marek was on his 32 Thoughts Podcast and speculates that he can see the Edmonton Oilers as a long-term fit for Bo Horvat.

Horvat would accept a trade to Edmonton and knows Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl will be around for a few more years.

The Oilers do need defense but if the opportunity is there to make a Horvat trade, GM Ken Holland will make it.

What are Oiler fans saying about a Bo Horvat trade?

The Edmonton Oilers need bolstering in the defensive end. While he’d be a great addition, he’s not the one that the team needs. Unless Edmonton was willing to part with Jesse Puljujärvi plus or Vancouver would go one for one with them, I can’t see that happening.

Ya right and they have nothing worth trading for!! They’ll offer Tyson Barrie, Kailer Yamamoto and a bag of pucks. Nope not happening with another dumpster team.

We can’t even afford John from St.Albert, how tf we getting Bo
