Will the Toronto Maple Leafs target Boone Jenner?

NHL Analyst Mike Johnson was on TSN Radio 1050 and was asked if he see’s the Toronto Maple Leafs making any big moves at the trade deadline.

Johnson feels the Leafs will target Boone Jenner for a depth center to add to the lineup. He excels in the faceoff circle and is a great guy in the locker room.

Jenner, 29, is a big body at 6’2″ and 208lbs who has put up a solid 26 points in 40 games. He also is signed for the next three seasons with a Blue Jackets salary cap hit of $3.75 million. The Leafs will have to PAY to make a Jenner trade, but he addresses a Leafs need

Boone Jenner would fit better with the Toronto Maple Leafs than Foligno did.
