The Boston Bruins continue to be the best team in the NHL and after the dismantling of the 3rd best team in the league (Toronto Maple Leafs), NHL trade rumors are making the rounds the GM Don Sweeney is still looking to improve the back-end.
You can never have enough defenseman come playoff time and the Bruins will be looking to add a big piece.
Boston interested in Jakob Chychrun and Vladislav Gavrikov
Elliotte Friedman posted on his 32 Thoughts blog that the Boston Bruins will be looking to make a trade for a left-shot defenseman.
Friedman went on to say in his piece that the Bruins have to be careful not to tamper too much with their lineup. But the B’s are all-in this year and Friedman speculates Bruins management will target one of Jakob Chychrun or Vladislav Gavrikov.
What are Bruins fans saying about a Chychrun or Gavrikov trade?
Chychrun, plays monster defense, great contract, can trade him in a couple years if you don’t want to sign him. Bruins need to trade for him.
That’s been my target all season. Can you imagine having McAvoy, Lindholm, and Chychrun???
Gavrikov is not worth a first round draft pick, but if the Bruins can get him for a 2nd round pick, do it!
