Max Domi has been in the NHL rumor mill for the past two months with no takers so far. Domi is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer and will likely be traded by tomorrow’s NHL trade deadline.
Jeff Marek was on Hockey Night in Canada’s 32 Thoughts segment and mentioned the Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche are interested in a Max Domi trade.
Marek went on to say the Capitals would have an issue salary cap wise though and might need a 3rd party to get involved or have Columbus retain salary.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have also been reported to have interest in a Domi trade but like the Caps, they have salary cap issues.
