Can the Toronto Maple Leafs trade away the big contracts of Dion Phaneuf and Phil Kessel? The Leafs started off the 1st half so well that they are too far ahead to get the #1 or #2 overall pick. Fans want the Leafs to pull a tank nation and do there best to get Connor McDavid.
The Leafs will most likely try and trade Joffrey Lupul, Tyler Bozak, Jake Gardiner, Daniel Winnick, Nazem Kadri and Mike Santorelli.
Leafs can strip it down, go for a high pick. But while doing so they'll get 48 yrs of hate/anger thrown at them daily. Big challenge.
