Max Bultman of The Athletic states if you trade Zadina at the trade deadline you are selling low at a time there’s no real pressure to make a move.
Bultman went on to say it is possible the Detroit Red Wings could swing a deal with the Ottawa Senators for Erik Brannstrom. He is another player where a change of scenery could help his game.
Both players will be restricted free agents this summer and will likely be seeking the same dollar amount on their next contract.
