NHL trade rumors for June 13, 2022 feature the Montreal Canadiens looking into trading forward Josh Anderson this summer.

NHL trade rumors floated around at the NHL trade deadline about Montreal management listening to trade offers for power forward Josh Anderson but nothing materialized.

Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff confirms that Montreal Canadiens GM Kent Hughes was contacted from multiple GM’s about the availability of Anderson.

Seravalli went on the say, Habs management have resisted the urge to trade Anderson, but if the right offer comes along he will be traded this summer.

Anderson, 28, is a sought after asset, who provides skill, size and toughness. He has a cap friendly hit of $5.5 million AVV for another five more seasons.

Anderson was drafted 95th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 4th round of the 2012 NHL entry draft. He has a total 171 points in 388 games played, and 14 playoffs points in 43 games played.
