NHL trade rumors are starting to float around that Ryan Getzlaf might test free agency. The Bruins, Stars, Canadiens and Oilers have interest.

Ryan Getzlaf has stated he only wants to play for the Anaheim Ducks but in the last few days hockey trade rumors have been going around that he might want to test out free agency.

Pierre LeBrun was on TSN’s Insider Trading and is reporting if Getzlaf leaves Anaheim via free agency potential teams he could sign with are the Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins.

LeBrun went on to say, the door is not closed in Anaheim. The Ducks had talks with Getzlaf’s camp today. Let’s see where this goes.

Getzlaf is in no rush. An announcement might not be made tomorrow when free agency opens. The Ducks are in a rebuild so Ryan has to decide, does he want to help and mentor the rebuilding Ducks or sign with a Stanley Cup contender? I guess we will find out in the coming days.
