The Minnesota Wild have contacted the Canucks about a J.T. Miller trade. The Wild could offer Kevin Fiala and a 2nd round pick for Miller.

Yesterday NHL trade rumors were floating around that the Vancouver Canucks were shopping Brock Boeser if the right trade offer came along. It appears another Canuck forward is drawing trade interest and that is J.T. Miller.

Like Boeser, Miller does not hold a no-trade clause so he can be traded to any team.

Ben Kuzma of The Province is reporting the Minnesota Wild have called the Canucks about J.T Miller’s availability. Kuzma suggests the Wild will offer up winger Kevin Fiala, 25, who is in the final year of a contract that carries a US $5.1-million salary cap hit.

Kuzma went on to say the Wild will likely have to sweeten the pot and add a 2nd round draft pick along with Fiala for a trade to be completed.

A shakeup needs to be completed in Vancouver. You have to believe either Miller or Boeser will be traded in the next few weeks.
