With Vladimir Tarasenko playing well to start the season, will the St. Louis Blues still look at trading him?

In the offseason NHL Rumors were floating around everywhere that Vladimir Tarasenko wanted to be traded but the big question was, is he tradeable after multiple shoulder surgeries?

Tarasenko has played excellent in the first third of the season with 29 points (12g, 17a) in 31 games and sits tied for 22nd in NHL scoring. With his play he has helped the St. Louis Blues in receiving a great return of assets if a potential trade was to happen.

Speculation still has Tarasenko wanting to be traded but most NHL Analysts feel this could be a next year trade as the Blues are comfortably in a playoff spot and considered a Stanley Cup contender.

Tarasenko also has great chemistry with his line mates Ivan Barbashev and Pavel Buchnevich as they are one of the best lines in the NHL right now. The most likely scenario is Tarasenko finishes this season with the Blues as the fans are loving him and he is playing well.

Both Tarasenko and management will sit down in the offseason and decide what to do.
