NHL Trade rumors for January 28, 2022 feature four teams interested in making a trade for J.T. Miller. The Rangers, Wild, Bruins and Flames.

Earlier this season NHL trade rumors were floating around that the Minnesota Wild had interest in a J.T. Miller trade. It appears the Vancouver Canucks have let teams know Miller is available for a trade.

Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff reports there are four teams currently interested in a Miller trade and they are the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames, and the Wild.

Seravalli believes the Rangers are the best fit for Miller. Pierre LeBrun was on TSN Insider Trading and stated, “The team wants young prospects, more prospects in the pipeline. If a team steps up with three to four prospects, three to four assets, a trade will happen.”

What make’s a Miller trade so attractive to any team is his contract does not expire until next season. You get J.T. Miller at a super reasonable cap hit for a point-per-game player.

There were NHL rumors floating around that the Canucks are interested in a Alexis Lafreniere trade. Could a Miller for Lafreniere trade work?
