Anton Khudobin just recently cleared waivers and teams are now calling the Dallas Stars to make a Knudobin trade.
Pierre LeBrun reports that teams have shown interest in make a trade for Khudobin, but would prefer to pick him up via a trade so the Stars can eat some of his salary or take a contract back.
There is a demand for backup goalies and if the Stars are willing to eat half of his $3.33 million salary a deal will likely happen pretty quickly.
There is no word from any of the NHL insiders and what teams are interested. For now, Knudobin will get some games in for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
