Shawn Burr a former Detroit Red Wing has died at the age of 47.
Burr died on August 5th at a Detroit-area hospital after falling at his home this weekend.
The former NHL hockey player had been battling cancer. A local Detroit station has learned Burr hit his head when he fell this weekend, but the exact cause of death is not yet known.
