CSNPHILLY.com:  The Philadelphia Flyers could re-sign restricted free agent forward Brayden Schenn to a three-year, $15.75 million contract extension. That’s an annual cap hit of $5.25 million. Schenn’s current annual salary is $2.5 million.

The Fourth Period: The New York Islanders might be in a position to trade goalie Jaroslav Halak after the emergence of netminders Thomas Greiss and J-F Berube. Several teams will be looking for goaltending help this off-season, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and Carolina Hurricanes.

“I like it here, but they just have to decide which way they want to go for next season,” Halak told the Post. “J-F is a young goalie, Greisser played well all season long. So we’ll see.”
