TSN 1290: Darren Dreger is reporting there are “aggressive offers” being made for the Columbus Blue Jackets’ first-round pick (third overall) in the upcoming NHL draft. Dreger believes the Blue Jackets are willing to listen to offers, but doubt they will trade the pick.
Will Brian Campbell sign with the Chicago Blackhawks?
Chicago Sun-Times: Mark Lazerus speculates that the Chicago Blackhawks could try bringing back defenseman Brian Campbell, who was dealt to the Florida Panthers five years ago. Campbell is a UFA this summer but signing him isn’t a sure thing as the Blackhawks do not have that much cap space to work with.
