Ben Bishop trade rumors

Will the Tampa Bay Lightning trade Ben Bishop?

Tampa Bay Times: The time could be now for the Lightning to trade goaltender Ben Bishop. Tom Jones suggests Bishop’s frequent injuries, salary ($6 million next season, perhaps more after that as a UFA), the presence of promising Andrei Vasilevskiy and the possibility of losing Bishop to a possible expansion draft next summer as reasons to move him now.

Detroit looking to trade Jimmy Howard

The Detroit News: Detroit Red Wings GM Ken Holland acknowledged trading goalie Jimmy Howard might be good for the goalie and the organization. Trading Howard this summer won’t be easy, with the lack of teams in the market for a netminder, Howard’s contract, and with Marc-Andre Fleury, Ben Bishop and Frederik Andersen available.
