CSNNE.com: The Boston Bruins are looking to add a top 4 defensive to their line-up. Possible trade candidate’s are the Edmonton Oilers’ Justin Schultz, Cam Fowler, Sami Vatanen or Hampus Lindholm of the Anaheim Ducks, Jonas Brodin, Marco Scandella or Matt Dumba of the Minnesota Wild. The Ducks and the Wild are looking for scoring help and the Bruins could trade pending UFA winger Loui Eriksson.

Ottawa Senators want to be buyers at the trade deadline

The Fourth Period: Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray wants to add to his roster and help push his team into the playoffs.  Murray has been “aggressively working the phones trying to find either a forward or a defenceman.” The Senators have interest in Winnipeg Jets captain Andrew Ladd, Vancouver Canucks right wing Radim Vrbata, and Carolina Hurricanes captain Eric Staal.

St. Louis Blues looking for scoring help

The Hockey News: St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong continues to talk to teams looking for a scoring forward. Recent trade rumors linked the Blues to suspended Tampa Bay Lightning left winger Jonathan Drouin.  If the Blues do not land Drouin, GM Armstrong could target Columbus Blue Jackets left winger Scott Hartnell, New Jersey Devils right winger Lee Stempniak, Winnipeg Jets’ left winger Andrew Ladd, Boston Bruins right winger Loui Eriksson, Calgary Flames right winger Jiri Hudler and Carolina Hurricanes left winger Kris Versteeg.
