TSN 1050 Radio: Darren Dreger was on the radio show this morning and he discussed that the Edmonton Oilers really need a top 2 defenceman. The Oilers tried to trade Ryan Nugent-Hopkins for Seth Jones, but the Nashville Predators decided to take Ryan Johansen over Nugent-Hopkins. Dreger feels the Oilers will target New York Islanders defenceman Travis Hamonic in the off-season. GM Garth Snow will likey want Jordan Eberle over Nugent-Hopkins. The way Eberle has meshed with Connor McDavid, Eberle might not be available for trade.
