About 15 minutes after the Ben Chiarot trade to Florida was announced, the Calgary Flames went and made a trade for Seattle Kraken forward Calle Jarnkrok.
After the Tyler Toffoli trade last month, the Flames were rumored to be looking for a depth forward which lead to the Jarnkrok trade.
The Flames gave up a 2022 second-round pick, a 2023 third-round pick, and a 2024 seventh-round pick for Jarnkrok.
The Kraken retain 50 per cent of Jarnkrok’s salary.
