Edmonton Journal:  Former NHL GM Craig Button, now a hockey insider on TSN thinks it’s time to blow up the Edmonton Oilers.  Is it time for the Oilers to trade Nail Yakupov and Jordan Eberle?

The Hockey News: With the Arizona Coyotes off to a 3-0 start, the rebuilding team might be looking to add an impact player. GM Don Maloney intends to look at waivers and trades for players to bolster his lineup. The Coyotes have the cap space to add an impact player. Maloney isn’t interested in taking on another team’s salary-cap problems like Philly trying to dump Vincent Lecavalier, the Coyotes would want someone like Brayden Schenn.
The Fourth Period: Will the Calgary Flames offer a contract to UFA Mike Richards? Both the Flames and Edmonton Oilers were linked to Richards during the early part of the off-season.
