Of the type of return Cheveldayoff could seek, Button listed Toronto Maple Leafs Morgan Rielly, Anaheim Ducks Hampus Lindholm, Florida Panthers Michael Matheson, Edmonton Oilers Darnell Nurse, Columbus Blue Jackets Zach Werenski and Philadelphia Flyers Ivan Provorov as potential trade targets. All are left-handed defensemen, though he doubts those teams will give up those players.
