He even suggests adding rearguard Dylan McIlrath in the deal.

Anaheim looking to trade a defenceman to free up cap space

ESPN: The Anaheim Ducks cannot re-sign free-agent defenseman Hampus Lindholm because they have to make a salary-dumping trade to free up cap space. Craig ustance believes the Ducks prefer to move Kevin Bieksa, Simon Despres or Clayton Stoner, but an NHL executive tells him they don’t have much value. They could be stuck moving Cam Fowler. Custance claims the Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings are the best candidates to pursue a defenseman.

  1. Brooks is an idiot. Doesn’t know anything about hockey, just a rumor monger. No way they give up all those players for Trouba. How about some real rumors, like why was Gorton and Drury at Ducks game vs Isles
